Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462 xx
Titled Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462, the new “web” series “tells the story of a group of passengers aboard a commercial airplane during the earliest moments of the outbreak,” according to a statement from AMC. “Over the course of the series, the plane and the lives of its passengers are put in jeopardy once they discover an infected traveler.”
The airplane web series will air in 16 (16!) minute-long parts throughout The Walking Dead season 6’s Sunday night schedule. The first part will premiere this Sunday, the same day as Fear the Walking Dead’s season 1 finale. The next two parts will air during commercial breaks in The Walking Dead season 6’s premiere on October 11.
One character in Flight 462 will join Fear the Walking Dead season 2 which is expected to premiere next summer on AMC. This little tidbit means the plane is bound for Los Angeles, and the plane will be able to make a landing that keeps at least one character alive.
